Revelation 7:4-8 Again, for those who believe the bibel literally, that it is flawless, then you have a problem.

Many "chrisitians" are taking a very LIBERAL interpretation of the bibel. Sorry, Liberals, you can't weasel your way into Heaven, by pointing out contradictions in the bibel.

It never said that only 144,000 will be spared, but those are the number that will be Sealed with the mark of God and left untouched by the plagues that ravage the earth. You should really read more into it and actually try to understand before making an accusation like this.

Besides... it never said that other Christians will be left behind. Those 144,000 are those that have accepted Christ after the other believers have been taken to Heaven, but before the final battle against satan begins.

First of all, reread your Bible to everyone who doesn't even know that number....the Bible does mention the number 144,000...

But in completely different contexts than you have taken it.

God and Jesus have told us, "even if you have the faith of a mustard seed, you will be saved."

There are a lot of contradictions in the Bible, because it was written by man... man is falliable. This doesn't mean "There is no God" because a book written by mortals contradicts it.

It's something called FAITH ya'll... and I'm more than proud to have it. Keep your P's and Q's in order and talk to God... part of having faith is questioning it, but always believing.

By the way, the number mentioned can be found in Revelations 14:1-5.

The 144,000 that it talks about, is only from the tribes of Israel, who were "sealed." Through-out the NT though, it shows many times that everyone who believes in Jesus, accepts his forgiveness and follows him, will be "saved."

And I heard how many were marked with the seal of God. There were 144,000 who were sealed from all the tribes of Israel...Revelations 7:4

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

"Come, follow me," Jesus said...Mark 1:17

I think, in " the pray Credo" is write ' will be resurection the deads "
and in the bible is writte at Matthew 8:22 ' Follow me and let the dead bury their own dead' .
I think that Jesus Christ speaks about the death of the soul.
It is hard to understand all that in the Bible is written, very much texts are in conections with other texts .., i think isn't that means(only 144.000) .The door is open for everybody ,is our choice.
(Such as the Sinner who was cricificate with Jesus, said only in Luke 23:42,43 : 'Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom' and Jesus said 'I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise'
So was the first men who arrived in Paradise, because he reconised his fault and he whant the Help of Jesus Christ, i think so we too.
God Bless you and belief in good. The good souls will be together .

You need to read that again. Its 144 thousand from the tribes of Israel. The number of believers is mentioned as too many to count. If your looking for the true answer this is it but if your looking to promote your agenda (like most do) you'll chose some other answer that makes you feel good.

Theoretically, assuming this portion of the bible is the portion I think it is, this after the rapture has already happened so these are people who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior afterwards, but before the final battle when God defeats the devil.

I think the line was only 144000 will be left at the end time and then read Matthew 7:21-23 to see how Jesus will kick them out of his sight.

That is an apostacy of the jehovah's witness. It is completely false thinking on their part. You as well as them are sadly wrong. Want to clear it up. go to this page and scroll down to the part about JW's.

Because none of them can agree on any of the details in the first place. Christianity is so divided it can't even be called a religion.
