What is the difference between destiny and fate ?

Is destiney set or can it be changed ??? And, what is 'Kismet' ? How does one know one's destiny ??? Can one know ???

I don't know what kismet is.

Destiny is something that you were meant to do or be, and have to work towards it.

Fate is what actually has happened to you, and the situation that you find yourself in during this time.

yes you can change thing..But to thyne own self be true..need no one ask for nothing.. if you can't get it on your own, forget it..Let me tell you a little story. I grew up alone the folks died when I was 12.. I was taken up by an old coot named wilky who taught me the ways of the world. I played played poker on a hardwood stump in the woods back in my younger days. dry was the talk, but the rich folks walked into the woods where I stayed. Jugs and jars from shiners, my saviors they weren't miners.They were old relics from the twenty-niners, and it didn't take a hole in the ground to put the bottom in their face They told me about back in the thirties when the dust bowl dried, and the woods in middle Tennesee didn't see no light. I played poker with the old boys by a hard wood fire squeezing all my luck from a hot copper wire. I scrapped like a wildcat fightin till the end..I trapped wild critters and I took their skins...And I dealt from the bottom, I put the aces in the hole with one hand on the jug but I never did know. One night I heard my mentor Wilkey call ,"Boy come running, you better come quick, this rotgut moonshine is making me sick, the old B**ch called the law and they're gonna take me away"...I was so far down even the devil wouldn't stay. I called to the Lord with all my soul and I could hear the devil rattling the chains on the door. But he couldn't get in. I could see he tried through the shadows of the cage around the forty watt light. Wilkey lay dying and I asked him "tell me another story,tell me about the lows and the highs,tell me how to tell the difference between what they tell me is the truth or a lie, tell me why the ones who have so much make the ones who don't go mad with the same skin stretched over their white bones and the same jug in their hand?"....... you choose in life.. here's the truth he spoke"My Daddy played poker on a hardwood stump in the woods back when the world was gray Before black and white went and chose up sides and gave a little bit of both their way,The only blood that's any cleaner is the blood that's blue or greener, without either you just get meaner and the blood you gave gives you away" and he died with his face in my hands when I was 15.. he was all I had.. The devil spat me out, then angel caught me midflight in my fall to hell like one catches a sparrow....everything changed
