I feel so nervous when I have to go and do errands. It takes me an hour to get showered, dressed when leaving this house. I don't like people because I don't look my b esty or even close to it. My awful, emotionally draining marrage of 32 years is sucking all of the life out of me. I've lost about 50 pounds because e very time I ate I felt like the food was getting stuck.

Sounds like an anxiety disorder. When you start to hyperventilate, uncontrollably for more than 10 minutes, then you'll know your having a nervous breakdown! Seek out someone to talk to before you reach that point.

It could be a nervous(mental) break down, only you and your doc can decide this for sure, maybe it is a hormone inbalance. Your marriage must not be so bad, after all you have been there for 32 years, something kept you there. I'm sure you look better than you see yourself. I feel this way some times, it's a bad place to be huh?
See your doc, OK?

ask yourself if you are unhappy and if you answer yes, ask yourself why? the symptoms of a nervous breakdown are sleeplessness, poor appitite, crying a lot .not interested in things you used to love doing, wanting to be alone . feelings that something bad is going to happen ,feeling that there is no use going on anymore . if you have any or all of these symptoms you need medical treatment .your emotionally draining marriage has sucked all your vibrancy of life from you and you need to be released from the bondage of that marriage so you can heal.

Well, for one thing... You might cry outta nowhere. If you cry outta nowhere because of random thoughts racing through your mind or you just don't plain have a reason, then, that's one symptom of a nervous break down.

Sounds like you are breaking.

What you could do to heal yourself, rather than tape it up with pills and a shrink.... is:

Accept everything and pay attention to everything. Everything.

If you have the courage to do that, you deserve the results.
