I have been in love with a man that is 38. I am 20. I have been in love with him for 6 years. What is your opinion on the age difference? State your opinion, but no trash talk plz!!!!!!!!

hmmm im in a relationship where the age difference between us is scadalously big. we thought hard and long about it, before really giving the relationship a go. we'd been at it for almost 3 years now and are very happy.
it all depends on how committed you are with each other, i guess. we are, and thats all that matters to us.

Honestly, I don't think it is a good idea. I recently had a friend who was engaged to a woman 11 years older. They were wonderful together, but it tore them apart.
My parents are 10 years apart... and though she loves him, my mom will be the first to tell people how hard it is.
Ya'll are at different places at different times in your lives... it will be hard.
But, different strokes, different folks... if you honestly think you can make it... give it a go. Just know you will have to sacrifice a lot at times.
Look at the fact too, that when you were two years old, he was the age you are now (20.) It's a little weird, and some people may think that as well... be prepared to deal with that factor, before diving head first.

Age is not an issue, but I am wondering. If he has been in love with you for the last six years, that means you were 14 then. If he does have a taste for young girls, he won't be liking you for long either.

38 - 20 = 18 years.
:) if you like him and he likes you and he cares for you. then go for it. :) the age difference... forget it. :)

wow, theres a lot of difference in age... but if you love him and he does. you don't need anything else... i have an aunt that his husband and her have 20 years of difference
