go to start up, that find files and folders. Type in the name of the AVI and do a search. Whenyou find the folder it is in, than change the name from that folder. You click on it until it's highlighted and type in any name you wish. I do this with many of my song titles I make.

reboot your system and end process for all your players on your computer because they may be using this file, or try playing another file on every media player and your problem will be solved, or if you want , copy the file and rename it

The first thing your can try is to check for spyware, adware, viruses and the like, you could also try to reame it in safe mode, i hope it helps. Good Luck!

if you downloaded the file than you should close the program that you downloded the file with and than try if not you need to chage it to a mpg file

boot in safe mode, no drivers are installed, and you should be able to rename. if not you will need to go into dos.

u can change the program by some special softwares not by renaming it!!!
