Maybe those of you who believe in Satan project the truth about the discovery of a material world divided by a primal conflict between predator and prey into your imaginations as the myth about the mystery of a spiritual world divided by a conflict between a good one in Heaven and an evil one cast down to and ruling over Earth? Does it seem some times like Satan rules the Earth; because we live in a body consuming biosphere divided by a primal conflict between predator and prey; because to the many of our global culture successful predators have traditionally portrayed sacrificed prey as being 'evil' and the out come of the game of survival and sacrifice as 'the will of a good one in Heaven'?

I believe in Mother God, an infinite divine eternal one and that Satan only exists in the minds of those who choose to have low esteem of self and world.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of God plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

Mixing up the cast of charters in the bible again.
The Creator made Satan to be the temptor to try and lead us astray from his word.
ST. LUCIFER was not evil in the same sense. He was an Arch Angel that was to be this Planets Guardian Angel . But it made him egatiscal to the point that he thought he could run creation better than the creator. And lost Big time. He and the other rebel angels are in a pit after being thrown out of Heaven by ST Michael to awaint the day of Judgement.

I have a challenge for you....

IF you really WANT to know the truth about God (if you have an open mind), ASK Him to reveal Himself to you, to reveal the truth to you. Tell Him that you think that the Bible isn't true but that you realize it's possible that you MIGHT be wrong.

IF you can acknowledge that your beliefs might not be 'right on' and if you're brave enough to try and find out for SURE, then just ask. God WILL respond. I can't tell you exactly how He'll do it, but he WILL reveal Himself to you. Then you'll really know what's true.

Or, you can just go on and believe what you do already. We all choose WHAT and WHO to have faith in. But I can tell you from personal experience that God has revealed Himself to me in very TANGIBLE ways, ways that can NOT be explained away. I doubt that your belief in 'Mother God' can do the same.

"and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

God can not exist with out Satan because it is like yin and yang.... Some of the early church (catholic) said that satan is the old testament God and the new testament God is good God. Meaning that there is no real Satan tempting you its other peoples free wills tempting you... and the old testament God is the one that punishes you for your sins and new testament rewards you for your good deeds. personally I don't really know...

Rev 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. Rev 17:4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: Rev 17:5 And upon her forehead [was] a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

Satan's biggest victory is in convincing the world he does not exist.
