If u r loking for a antivirus software I suggest u buy one ,bcoz the downloaded version will not give complete protection to ur comp, and it comes with an expiery date.So u can buy one and keep updating it from the Internet.I suggest MacAfee or Norton AV 2006 will be good.

properly surely, in case you will get some 'unfastened' anti virus, it wont be that helpful and it will proceed to malicious program you to enhance a different version and stuff like that. you need to use some peer 2 peer application including emule, kaaza to acquire antivirus softwares. i decide for to propose utilising Norton Antivirus company version 7.X

The best free anti-virus sotware I know and would recommend is AVG. Visit http://www.grisoft.com to download it.

But - if you're not a fan of Grisoft's products you can always look for an alternative at C|Net Download http://www.download.com

Go to www.komando.com. Kim Komando's website. She has links to several free antivirus programs. I use AVG.

AVG has a free version, but you have to search their site quite hard for it. They also have a trial version (don't get that one)

I use it and it works great!

I also use AVG, and I'm pretty sure if you get the google pack (http://labs.google.com) you can get a free version of norton.
