I'm a Buddhist, so I don't make any effort to enforce my beliefs on anyone else. Indeed, I would prefer that they hold onto their beliefs (including the non-religious) as that is what makes them a whole person, and when properly applied, peace and harmony are products of this.
What I do have an issue with is when what I have come to believe is assailed by others, both theist and atheist. However, I tend to deal with them much in the way of certain martial arts by letting their judgments work against them. I'm perfectly willing to argue with either side knowing that I can counter their arguments without having to use mine. That's not exactly my religion at work, but my personal boundaries.

God is my teacher, though sometimes I fail him.
We have to stay continually aware of the fact that we represent him.
Its not always easy for we are all human.
Contrary to popular belief among some christians and non christians alike, WE ARE ALL HUMAN....and subject to error.
I totally agree with you though on the fact that Christians should never at any point war against each other, and especially infront of others and non believers. For this could be a stubbling block to a weak person.
Also,we should all find our way back to our prayer closet, where we gain strength from , and get a renewing of a clean heart and right spirit, and restore the joy of his salvation.

No, I believe that if there is a God (and I believe there is) and God wanted us to live in peace and harmony, we would be living that way.
Jesus said this, "Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household."
The Apostle Paul also blasted those he thought were heretics.
God created this situation because He hates many of the people he made. In fact, they were, "made to be taken and destroyed."

The true test of ANY spiritual teaching is how close it get one to God and frees one from things that are not going to help one get close to God... a personal relationship with God.
The Bible says that too, "By your fruits you shall be known".
A lot ot of people that claim to be religious are just cult members and followers... neophytes that just talk the talk but don't walk the walk, saying my religion is better than yours.
A true religion changes who you are as a person and make you more tolerant of others and their beliefs.
But honeslly, Muslims scare the SH1T out of me, sorry.

I am a Christian, yet I believe everyone has a right to thier oppinion,. God does not teach us to hate but to love. Even I am prone to be stupid sometimes though. Religion is what causes the problem, not God.

This is an incisive question.
I would say it is an implacable issues for people with different belief.
How many "missions" are organized by all these religions to incursive others belief. a word: conversion!
Therefore, I infer religious people are disingenuous for trying to be wise.
They all have condescending fashion in their heart.

I'm with you but in a part of your words.
I wanna say that I found two kinds of arguments here, one of them when people argue to offer their beliefs and to hear others', and I myself find it very good kind of argument, it's really good.
The other kind is rather a battle than an argument where people just attack others and any other religion than their, and of course I'm against it.
The first one is like building, the other being like wrecking.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. They hate. You love. Try not to judge because you do not want to be judged, right? People who hate just want to be hated...according to Jesus' teachings...
HINT: In the upper right hand corner just above the outline of the box there are words that say, "Check Spelling." It sounds like your question was flying through your brain faster than your fingers would type. Pay attention to what you are spelling, please, because I am one of those people who do pay attention to those things. I am a teacher by day...
I hope that helps you some

religion and god is a psychological necessity for most of the individuals...so when anyone questions your belief, you are affraid of losing ur stable pshyche......this will end only when people start to think apart from the scholars who interprets these scriptures in their own personal mindset.......know that everything in the nature is part of that .....everything has a seperate existence but has a strong thread connecting them...then its easy to understand others belief and accept them ......
