I suppose that it would depend on how the divine moment unfolds. If it were to include instructions to go dig up some golden tablets, that's one thing. However, if it's more personal in nature, I see no reason to share it.

Besides, I'm Buddhist, so it's possible that the spirit of Christ has shown up a number of times and we've not recognised it.

"If christ came to you in a devine moment, would you tell anybody, or keep it to yourself?" -- I'd tell a person I trusted with my life, not everyone. I'd then move to a (RC) priest, that was not a fanatic.
Of course: "knowing they won't believe you?" - I'd have to live failing GOD, as I had no one to trust, to help me. That's why GOD gives only what a person can handle, either good or bad, no more, as he knows it would be too much and accomplish nothing.

Depends on what happened in that divine moment, and how. Pagan theology makes allowances for such things, and I might very well tell my closer friends; if nothing else, it's one of those 'Damnedest thing happened the other night..." stories you tell the people you trust when the going gets wierd.

If anybody told me that "Christ came to me in a devine moment", I would suspect him of being insane.

I share the gospel with others.

Such individual encounters -- mine have been more indirect than direct -- I mention some of my near-mystical experiences in my testimony...

I used to be an atheist. Over a period of time however, I grew convinced of the existence of the Christian God, and ultimately committed my life to Christ (e.g., see http://www.godsci.org/gs/chri/testimony/seek.html ).

Cordially,
John

I would only trust my closest friends with the momeant then later if my friends believed me then i would tell others. some people may believe you others may not. if it was ment to be shared then it will be excepted by most if not then it would be something to keep to yourself and treasure it with all your heart.

I had a moment like that months ago. I'm still not 100% positive it wasn't my mind playing tricks on me. So, I've said nothing (until now)

I would have to share with a select few at first, then tell more as time went on, I am still human and prone to weakness.

If it will help others feel closer to Jesus and have faith in Him, you'd better share this experience with them. Whether they believe you or not, at least you did something that you know would give glory to Him.

God bless!
