WHY ARE PEOPLE SO RACIST TO MEXICANS. WE ARE NOT THE ONLY IMMIGRANTS HERE?

I think some Americans are just racist, usually from the right! That is the way they were taught I guess! They have no tolerance for anyone who isn't a clone of them! Pretty sick, huh?

People aren't just racist to Mexicans!!! People are Racist to one another no matter if you are Black, Asian, White, Arab, ...whatever. There is always going to be someone who is going to be/ or act Ignorant and Foolish if they are driven by Hate for other types of Races/Cultures/Religons. You just have to learn to be better than that, and to be tolerant of those who are not racist or judging you because you are Mexican. Not everyone hates or discriminates against Mexicans.
When it comes down to the whole immigration issue....... race is not a factor and should not be a factor! It is about people coming into this Country Illegally, and really not helping USA Economy. I am a Nurse, and I see the problems Illegal Immigrants bring to the rest of us by receiving free health care, when others pay for it. It's not cheap these days either, and it's burdening our Healthcare system. Sorry if you are mad or angry I have that opinion but it has nothing to do with the fact you are Mexican, or an immigrant. Yes, we are all Immigrants from somewhere else....however we are in AMERICA now so we must act, and think for Americans and the betterment of this Country. You need to start thinking that way!!!

Why do Mexicans keep asking this?
1. We are not racist, we like Mexicans legally here.
2. We feel the same about all illegal aliens, not just Mexicans.
3. To us 'immigrants' means those legally here, not those who shouldn't be here at all. We have no problem with those here legally. We budgeted for those. The rest are straining our services and degrading education and health care for our own people. National origin is irrelevant.

Whites are no more racist to Mexicans and blacks as blacks and Mexicans are to whites. Remember, the white male is the ONLY member of society not protected by affirmative action. Think that might breed a little resentment? Of course. I'm tired of hearing about white racism when it just as equally goes the other way. Think a white man could get away with some of the things Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton or the spokesman for La Raza gets away with? Hell no. It's all BS so you "tolerant" hypocrites stop patting yourselves on your back.

Many Americans are upset about the large number of illegal Mexican immigrants, and unfortunately many of them carry that anger/racism over to all Mexicans - not just the ones who are here illegally. I realize there are exceptions, but I think most of the anger and accompanying racism is due to the illegal situation, not due to immigration in general. I'm not agreeing with it - just trying to explain :-)

Hang in there young lady. Most Americans are not racist. This issue is now a political football in the seriously corrupt game of money and votes.
If the Republicans loss the vote, then you will see the subject dropped completely, because America business interests are the ones that do not want things to change.
And, the Republicans can not operate long without trucks full of money. Money is the one thing that Republican love.
Don't worry sister, the Repub's are too corrupted to do anything but follow their corrupt leader.
And Democrats are not going to help the Republicans. Things are going to stay the same.

There are many Americans who use the very important issue of border security as a platform for racism just as there are those who feel that America is "making it up" for the same reasons.
It's very simply important for all countries to have secure borders in this day and age. Even if terrorism didn't exist, we need to make sure all citizens are here legally no matter what their ethnicity. The financial burden is too much for us to bear. It's insulting to hard working American taxpayers that illegal immigrants have things handed to them while we bust our rear ends for what we get. It's actually doubly insulting and dangerous for our stability. Look what happened to France for being lax about their border security.

If you have to ask go to Texas ,Arkansas, California Oklahoma and see how many are here illegally ,speak English (enough you can understand them),are getting free stuff ,and sending their money home to Mexico . Oh yea, and flying their flag instead of Old Glory. Then come back and ask.

Because they are ignorant and they are fearful of someone who looks different than they are. It also is a result of poor upbringing, where their parent's values or lack of values is passed along to the children, including prejudices. I'm sorry that most people in the U.S. either don't understand or haven't realized that we all got here from people who were immigrants, including Irish, Italian, Chinese, Japanese and so on. Right now people who speak out about illegal immigration don't know what they are talking about and it shows, doesn't it? If I could change it, I would.

It's not a racial issue. It's about breaking the law.
Would you accept anyone breaking into your HOUSE? Or would you call the cops? Do you want a burglar to LIVE in your house?
Why would you want a bunch of law breakers living in the United States who aren't loyal to our country?? Makes no sense.
