God our Father knows every hair on our heads and everything that we do He has predestined ahead of time, however we have a responsibility to be sure to love and live in the manner that upholds His glorious name, therefore we also have a certain amount of responsibility in this life too.

According to the Bible life depends on the choices God made before the world began.
BUT, the end of things is hidden from us. So we experience life as a series of choices. The things we choose to do reveal who and what we are. But who and what we are is what actually determines what we do and choose.
But no man has freewill, you are bound by who you are. You experience life as though you could have gone a different way; but God has made you do do and choose things just as you are made to.
People cannot choose to be believers in God, just like a person who disagrees with me cannot turn around and choose to agree with me. If he does, that was also in him by God, he may think he does if by his freewill, but, in reality, we are all slaves to the will that God has given us and the spirits that run us.
Jesus Said - "You have not chosen me but I have chosen you"
God is the maker of all things, even evil men, God does not make evil things corrupt, they are actually evil things which if God did not create them would otherwise not exist as conscious beings. They are "made to be taken and destroyed."
To the enemies of God, this makes God appear evil. Because he hates them and brings evil upon them.
Shall the formed thing say to the former, "What are you making?"
His answer is: "I made you. " If God didn't make you, you wouldn't exist. After all he could have made your "evil twin" instead.
I can feel the anger rising in some. But here's the deal: there are billions and billions (infinte?) human beings which God could have made, but did not and never will. God does not owe every possibility a living.
It is all determined by Him. he made the wicked to destroy the wicked.

Both both.
If it was solely dependant on the choice we made, well I doubt there'd even be a planet left. If it was all destiny, well that would be some funny destiny.

Both.
AAMOF, I'd say that if you're privileged and upper-middle class, then only about 10% of bad stuff that happens to you is random sh-t. If you're underclass, live in a war-torn country, etc., then obviously a lot more of the bad stuff that can happen to you is random sh-t that's none of your fault.
But blaming fate for everything and just giving up and letting stuff happen to you is a cop-out. You can always have the strength of character to at least TRY to rise above bad circumstances and make positive changes for yourself and everyone else.

I think it is a little bit of both. I think destiny gives us the options and its up to us to choose the where we go. Kind of like those choose your adventure books we read as kids.

Life depends on the choices we make.
Example:
I used to be an atheist. Over a period of time however, I grew convinced of the existence of the Christian God, and ultimately committed my life to Christ (e.g., see http://www.godsci.org/gs/chri/testimony/seek.html ).
Cordially,
John

There is only one choice that we made that will affect your life. The choice is do you accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior.

I think it's both. We cannot deny the existence of freewill, but I also think everyone has a destiny. You still have to fulfill your destiny, and it's up to you to fulfill it.
