I will be 36 years old in a few weeks. I was almost married 10 years ago. In spite of this, I haven't given up on love yet. I know there will be someone out there for me somewhere. Until I find Ms. Right, I will have fun with a few Ms. Wrongs in the meantine. LOL

why should anybody give up on love anyway? a break up is like a new opportunity for me to move on with somebody else, so yeah, it may hurt when it happens, but I always try to look at the bright side of its. I just don't constantly look out for new target :-)
It's not about at what age or in how long after a break up should somebody continue looking for love. To me, one must completely get over the ex before getting involved with someone new however long that may take. Otherwise, it will be very unfair to the new person, and it won't do you any good either.

love is alive and well. giving up doesn't matter, if it happens you can't help it. loving someone, that doesn't return the feeling definately hurts. But then again two people in love can still hurt.
till death do us part, isn't only for married people. love your parents, children, siblings, friends. Now, giving up on finding a soul mate or partner, I can say Yes, I have given up, but there seems to be something that just won't let me give up on love. I hope that never changes. there are just too many people I love.

Relationship can always be difficult, but love is something else.
1 Cor 13:4-10
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears.

I gave up on it a long time ago. I've been looking my entire adult life and it hasn't found me yet. I just got tired of worrying about it--infatuating over it--and decided to move on. I may not be happy, but at least I'm not miserable constantly fretting over finding someone to love.

i don't think anyone should give up on love...it's out there somewhere...some find it sooner than others....I know its rough sometimes...but man, when you find love...it's like nothing else matters in the world but the two of you...its a great feeling and experience and i think everyone deserves to know what it feels like.

25 years after puberty, women still hate me, and have never even thought of giving me a chance. Now i hate them, for the prejudice that they've shown me, and everyone accuses me of me of being the bad seed.
