Absolutely yes. From the Elliott Institute:

"...the cervical damage which results during abortion frequently results in a permanent weakening of the cervix. This weakening may result in an "incompetent cervix" which, unable to carry the weight of a later "wanted" pregnancy, opens prematurely, resulting in miscarriage or premature birth. According to one study, symptoms related to cervical incompetence were found among 75% of women who undergo forced dilation for abortion.

Cervical damage from previously induced abortions increase the risks of miscarriage, premature birth, and complications of labor during later pregnancies by 300 - 500 percent. The reproductive risks of abortion are especially acute for women who abort their first pregnancies. A major study of first pregnancy abortions found that 48% of women experienced abortion-related complications in later pregnancies. Women in this group experienced 2.3 miscarriages for every one live birth. Yet another researcher found that among teenagers who aborted their first pregnancies, 66% subsequently experienced miscarriages or premature birth of their second, "wanted" pregnancies."

Possibly but unlikely. Please ignore first answerer, there are NO studies that show she'll be at more risk for breast cancer, that's hog wash. She should speak with her OB/GYN about her chances of carrying another baby. Be supportive to your friend, miscarriages are hard and any reminders of her previous abortion isn't going to help her. Best to just be there and be a good listener and friend. Good luck, she'll need you.

Nope. It didn't for me.

Of course if you do it yourself, or have a cheap crappy one done, it might affect your body and prevent future pregnancies from progressing.

If you do it in a clean place with a good doctor, you'll be fine.

Planned parenthood is very cheap, safe, discreet, and SUPPORTIVE. They educate you first before you have your abortion, or schedule your abortion. They give you all your options, and support you til the end.

Good luck!

There's no actual medical proof either way. If you were to have several, there "could" be a build up of scar tissue that could make future pregnancies difficult to say the least. I would think this decision out thoroughly before jumping to any decisions.

Yes because an abortion is stripping a baby from the lining of your uterus which can cause scar tissue if you are worried just take it easy especially through the first trimester.
