I am going to give you backwards advice. If you have to ask too much, don't go. You will learn to problem-solve, think critically, manage your time, and you will mature in the process, but a college education may also lead to a less practical training then other avenues such as specific career training. If you don't have a skill, you are of no use to a competitive job market that offers salaries, not wages, so become skilled one way or another. That being said, college graduates will get entry-level opportunities that high school graduates will not, and absolutely everyone I know who makes considerable amounts of money, and therefore have security and comfort, graduated from high school then sought out further training, such as home appraisal, specific sales, real estate, marketing, or advanced degrees. Hope that helps.

Don't let the cost of a university stop you from continuing your education. Applying for grants, scholarships, student loans, community colleges are some things you can do to make paying for college more reasonable. Do some research to find out which ways would be best for you. Be creative. If you look for a way you will find it!

People with a four year degree on average make $50,000 a year more than someone with just a high school education (the year before they retire). Estimate cost of four years of college, room and board, stuff you don't really need for your dorm room, and other things you would spend money on ~$100,000.
In other words you would like you job better make a ton more money and you could say you have gone to college and you did all those stupid things (like streaking across campus) that people do at college.

Sure why not? Unless you'd rather stick with 10k a year and below.
Tip: Many businesses would rather hire and pay someone higher with more knowledge and experience than someone with only hs diploma.

I suggest you do. A college degree is very valuable. If there's any way that you can have it, go. If there's not much way, try your best to make it happen. It'll do you good.
