We all originated in a primordial soup. If you want to believe we were created out of incest, the destroyed and all Born of Noah's family go ahead. I like even the monkey theory better than that mumbo jumbo. Some one was talking about historical proof of "the flood". Well, when the bible was being written, they had no knowledge of the rest of the world. Don't think any one lived 900 years either.
The old testament is a violent fairy tale, not fit for children, meant to make the Jews conform and be obedient.
It is their book, they don't believe in Jesus as the messiah, for Pete's sake, so why do Christians constantly refer to it.

Why do you feel the need to classify a person as a Jew, Christian or Muslim? There are soooo many more religions than that. Naughty, naughty...
Yes, I do think these people existed in real life. In fact, all religions have some derivative of the "Noah" tale beginning with the first ever rendition which is called, "Gilgamesh."
This first written rendition has been written on many stone tablets. At the time I read a translated version, archaeologists had found six or seven tablets that needed to be re-assembled from broken bits. The translation explained that some of the tablets were still missing and therefore the story jumped around a bit...and to put up with it.
All religions also have their own version of Adam and Eve, Garden of Eden type dwelling and that Adam's first wife was not well liked by Adam. She is now named what is called a Succubus because of Adam's rejection.
I hope that helped some...

If someone isn't Jewish, Christan, or Muslim then they aren't going to believe in Adam, Eve, Noah, Abraham and so on since those are beliefs based on the Judeo/Christan/Muslim religion.
How did we get here? I think the Big Bang, abiogenesis, and evolution answer that question sufficiently. What happened prior to the Big Bang? I'm not really sure which theory is correct or if we have developed something which could answer that question yet, but string theory or m theory seems promising if I could only understand it....before the BB is where I say I don't know.
My religion, none..I'm an atheist.

Absolutely not. If you say you believe in the Adam and Eve fable, explain where their son's wives came from. If you are Jewish you will bring forth the "incest" explanation. Not a good story from the Christian point of view. I can see enough evidence in "the Theory of Evolution" to make that my point of view. I guess you could say mine is the, "Common Sense" religion. At least I don't have to come up with a lot of donations to belong. Just some thought.

First of all, I do believe there is God, a Higher Power whatever you want to call Him.
However, I do not believe in creationism as it's put forth in the Bible or at least the Adam and Eve part. Someone or something created the universe as we know it today. We may never know the answer to that question. There had to be some sort of catalyst involved for all of that surrounds us. Some may call this Intelligent Design.
As far as to how we got here, I rely on my fellow man's previous footsteps in tracking the history of the world. The Bible is one of these footpaths to follow in this search for knowledge. Many people in the Bible did exist at one time. The first few books in the Bible are from Moses, a man who based on the scriptures talked with God and was given the knowledge of how the world was created and so on. Many of the people around him continued to add these books to a collective document we now call the Bible. It's a given that these books would have names of commonly known people in any given area of any given time. Be it Noah, Cain and Able and so on.
What I find hard to believe is that what we now know today of civilizations that are older than than the Egyptian society that the current Bible stems from. These societies grew and flourished around the world. We have evidence of man on the American continent that dates back over 11,000 years ago. Well before the time of the Bible and it's origins. And yet some hold on to the theory that we just blinked into existence one day with all the animals and plants in place for our consumption only. We just hadn't learned to write yet it seems. Otherwise I think we would have had a history that dates back well before the story of Genesis. This story would probably would be a much different story than everything being perfect. And "oops we made a mistake by picking the apple" would be more likely be replaced by, I survived not being eaten today, I must write down how I dodged that so the next fellow doesn't run into a different fate.
We as humans in my opinion, have grown to the point that we no longer need to make up things to explain things we do not understand. Which is how one fellow put it, we no longer need to explain why there are lights in the sky at night. Why is the moon there sometimes and sometimes not. It just there and God put it there was how it was explained in the past. We now know the mechanics of the solar system and what stars are. At one point people who questioned the dogma of the Bible and the religious beliefs of the time were pursecuted and payed for thier radical thinking outside of the religious box with thier lives in some cases. I find it hard to follow any religion that has to draw blood in its endeavour to keep it's followers or believers in check and in some cases to kill to gain favour in the afterlife. How many time have we heard it's God's will spoken by an extremist in the pursuit of his or her cause?
Many a man have pondered the very question you have asked. The result is the world you live in today. From Plato to Hawkins, they all have asked the same questions. Why are we here? How did we get here. Now it seems the burning question is... Where are we going?
Peace!

Atheists would argue that Adam and Eve didnt exist; Noah was a myth; and so possibly was Abraham (but may be not).
According to Atheist faith, Man came into this world through evolution.

I used to be an atheist. Over a period of time however, I grew convinced of the existence of the Christian God, and ultimately committed my life to Christ (e.g., see http://www.godsci.org/gs/chri/testimony/seek.html ).
For scientific and intellectual evidence for the existence of God, see http://www.godsci.org/gs/godsci/evidence.htm

I believe that Adam was created by God, and eve as his mate to help him. I believe Abraham believed God and God called him righteous. Noah was the one who was vexed with the wickedness of man and God told him to build an ark as God was sorry He created mankind.

NOPE.
"If you do not believe, state how man came into this world" .. there is no proof other than scientific theory. And thats a theory.
The Bible is pure fiction. Its a tool used to control feeble-minded people.
