yes it's a side effect. How is it helping your depression/anxiety? All meds have some side effect - nothing is perfect. There are some alternatives.

yes, it can be a side effect, with Wellbutrin I had trembling as well. I hope you have told your doctor the side effects. Not sure what can be done about the effexor but my Wellbutrin was changed to a different med. Good luck!!!

I think thats a side effect...i'm on Zoloft and I sweat really bad at night...but sweating can also be due to other illnesses so check with a dr

Oh, yeah!!! I'm on Effexor & I sweat like mad! I could talk to my doc & change the med, but, otherwise I'm doing ok on it.
Be sure you tell him, though, & drink lots of fluids.

Contact your doctor right away - sweating could be a sympton of Neuroleptic Maligant Syndrome. Basically your body is making too much serontonin and has nowhere to put it.

i know that affexor can make you sweat. im not too familiar with wellbutrin but im sure its definetly a possibility

If this is a big problem for you, talk to your doctor about switching medications. Even if it's not a big problem, let your doctor know about it.
