I've downloaded iTunes from the website and installed it. But no matter which icon I click on, it just won't open!

reinstall....make sure pop-up blocker is turned off...
turn off pc and see if its working...i kinda had the same prob too..just try re-bootin or re-installin....

That has happened to me once. What I did was download Quicktime separately since the two come together and then iTunes worked!

either u downloaded uncomplete files or the program is not compatible with ur laptop.
