What other places on the east coast can we visit by driving?

I would stick to the Garden State Parkway and visit the southernmost tip of New Jersey, Cape May. There you can visit the beautiful lighthouse for practically nothing, walk through the town and see the beautiful historical victorian mansions. For the kids, I would take them to Ocean City, or Seaside Heights, where there is a boardwalk and rides and just walk along the beach. DO NOT GO TO WILDWOOD! It's beyond skanky! However, I hear they are trying to clean it up a bit. Have fun. NJ is a pretty state, despite what you may have heard.
