I just finished painting my room like 2 hours ago, and I'm afraid to sleep in it because it smells like paint, is it safe for me to sleep in it?

My nose feels stuffed up, is this from the paint, because I hear glue can make your nose weird if you sniff it.

I would not. i think all of those chemicals in the paint you inhale may not be good for your health. Plus i would think it would give a sick headache. right?

I would air the room out about a day before sleeping in a room with fresh paint. I know I would wake up with a headache from the smell. What does it say on the paint can about the fumes?

Better not. Some paints release chemicals & compounds into the air that may cause eye and skin irritation, lung and breathing problems, headaches, nausea, muscle weakness and liver and kidney damage. Cut up some onions, put them into a pail of water & leave the pail in that room overnight to get rid of the smell of fresh paint.

I would wait more time and sleep in another room, you might get a headache or get intoxicated. If you don't have another room then just make sure you open all the windows and the door if possible so that there is a lot of ventilation.

Not if you want to wake up in the morning! Just joking, but breathing the paint fumes whether you're awake or asleep will make you feel sick later.....

If it wasn't safe the paint manufacturer would have to put a warning on the can.

It's not really safe, but if you must make sure you have lots of good ventilation. Open a few windows to air it out faster.

You really, really shouldn't because of the fumes. Leave the windows open in your bedroom and sleep on the couch.

You'll probably get a headache when you wake up so I suggest sleeping somewhere else for the meantime.

Sleep on the couch. Your nose and eyes are telling you something.
