We know and are grateful that you are there keeping the wolves at bay. I trained with ROK Marines when I was still active duty. They were some tough a** little guys. The Sr noncom that was running the platoon we trained with scared the hell outta me, and I was a 6'2" 220 lb Marine lance corporal.

I worry about you guys every day. If the north Koreans come accrossed you are screwed. There is no way you can fight off that many. Those land mines are not going to do it. I feel like we should pull you out or bring in reinforcements. I am no longer in the military. What would you suggest since you know best?

Yep I was on the rock, "Tip of the spear" Okinawa. I guess you guys were the point, but I guess all of us were just to slow them down. My thinking is because I thought if this was a real invasion to tell you the truth the combined forces over (in the pacific) there could not halt a full scale operation.

I served in Camp Carroll, ROK in 1981-1982. Went to NCO Academy at Camp Jackson, near CRC.
I am so grateful to you who are continuing the mission. You do the Army proud. Keep up the good work!

ive been in the military for about 5 years, so I know that there are soldiers stationed there, but i agree with you, most americans are not aware of how bad it is there. We are very much focused on things that are going on elsewhere, which is ok, but i think that we should think about every place where we have US soldiers.

Yeah we know you are there and we appreciate that you protect our freedom as well as the freedom of other nations. I worked for Koreans for four years and they were the most incredible people I have ever met. They told me stories of their childhoods during the Korean War, horrendous stories.
See, some of us know freedom isn't free.....
My moto is........Support the Troops, kiss a soldier. xoxox
