It's treatable but not curable

It's treatable, but so far our medicine is not enough to completely cure it. However, as you grow older and older, schizophrenia is found to diminish, you won't need to take any medications. It's as if the schizophrenia is gone. This is a medical mystery, but someday, doctors and psychiatrists will figure it out.

It is highly treatable, depending on the person.
It is basically cut into thirds- one-third of schizophrenics will be able to lead a totally normal life, one-third will be in and out of hospitals, but still be able to function, and then one-third will be hospitalized for good.

Very much treatable and one third of the patients recovered dramatically with treatment.
