Bright light causes constriction of pupil,increase in the curvature of lens(becomes more convex),increases secretion of tear glands,and slightly heats up cornea. This causes reflex head aches. Wearig photo sun or slightly tainted glasses prevents it.

because it takes alot of mental focus and energy to watch something continuously for hours at a time. Also, you are keeping your eyes on focus on one thing. That also will make your eyes tired, hence give you a headache, neckache, etc.. So take a break every half hour and take a walk. It will do u some good actually...
