Well I have naturally curly hair, and sometimes I straighten it, and boy does that get a rise outta people becuase they say I look different....so I am wondering what all you guys think, cause even my boyfriend likes my hair stright better, and I do that maybe 5 times a year....

By the way, it takes an hour to blow dry it, and then 2 hours to use a flat iron on it....

My hair has long layes, and is down to almost the middle of my back and is brownish blonde and some red when the sun hits it...

i have natural curly as well.. isn't it nice to have the option of straightening it? But word of advice, don't chemically straighten it! damage galore if you do.. a flat iron works great and as soon as its washed.. presto! CURLS!! We are so lucky.. lol

I think guys like straight hair better. I saw new clip on TV once, and it showed the "perfect woman" that most guys would choose. She had longish, straight brown hair. I think they like it b/c it looks neat and controlled.
Personally, I love curly hair and I hate it when women straighten it because it is so pretty. Curly hair kind of says a girl is a little crazy and fun, and not so worried about keeping every little detail in perfect order.

I have recently stopped a 40 year battle against my curly hair and am letting the ringlets be free!
It's murder on your hair to blow and straighten and it's so tough to hear "how fabulous it looks straight". Great, a 90 minute ordeal to prep your hair for the day, yikes.
I have read and I recommend the book "curly girl" by Lorraine Massey. Follow her program for curly hair care, and you'll learn to love your soft, bouncy ringlets too. Check out naturallycurly.com too.

I say go with curly cuz that way. You can go with either style even if it takes too long. If you straighten it it will be harder to make some curls every once in a while.

i have bone straight hair and im so envious of people with curly hair cause it never gets in your face and its just so bouncy, like carrie bradshaw of sex and the city. anyway when i do curl my hair, i get raves too about how cute it looks. I noticed when girls with curly hair straighten it then a lot of people react to it too. It's just something different and change never hurt anyone. never hurt me anyway so switch it up

Naturally curly ! My friends tell me they pay a lot of money to get it to look like mine. I don't staighten my hair to impress anyone. I never fry my hair to get it straight. I believe natural is always more pretty.
