If you have only had it for 7 hours you need to go back to them and complain because it sounds like they gave you a crapy perm. And mouse won't hurt a perm. I had a perm once and it lasted 4 1/5 years. I used moose all the time.

When getting a perm your stylist should have explained how to care for it. You don't wet it, for any reason, for 24 hours. The more you pull your hair while blow drying and styling, the more damage you can create. When you do wash your hair, don't use water any hotter than you would put a baby in. If you have gotten the kind of perm you ask for, it should have been a little more curl than you ask for, and your stylist should have explained that as well. This is done in order to allow for relaxation that occurs in every perm. The length of time it will last, will depend on how often you cut your hair, and how fast your hair grows. When you get a perm, it is curled from the ends to the scalp. As you hair grows, the new growth is not permed. If your stylist is good at his or her craft, they will keep it TRIMMED (not cut) and you will keep the perm until it's all grown out. A trim is a must every 6 to 8 weeks, for normal growth. Some people have to have it done more often as their hair grows faster. Use good products as well.

If you just had it done than I would say go back because its to weak if the side looks like its falling.Don't wash it for at least 24 hours.I would go back if you just had it done. If its a good perm than you should be able to put mouse in it right after. When I do perms I put mouse and conditioner right in my clients hair.It sounds like a weak perm.If its an older perm than it looks like you will be needed a new one soon Good luck

if your hair is losing the perm already you need to go back to the people who did it and tell them they will need to fix it as soon as your hair can handle it. and if they wont then get your money back, your hair should not be going back. Try a curl cream like Wired. My mom would always use that stuff and it works wonderful. Wired is a cream that comes in a white bottle and you can find it at beauty first.

i got my hari permed and by the time the smell went away, you coudl barely notice the curls. use a mousse and a diffuser to style it, this will bring out the culrls.

U cant keep it from getting it ruined. You have to get it again every year or every 6 months.
