I usually do when I get up early to go the gym before work. If I don't go to the gym, I don't do it. Weird. I go to the gym about 5 days per week, so I guess I'm not doing THAT bad, right?

Obviously, from the above answers, you ARE doing it better than most. Once your gums are in tip-top shape, you can skip a day here and there without suffering much of a setback. I compare it to washing your hair. You might skip a day sometimes, but you notice the difference by the next day and can't wait to shampoo again.

I do floss daily, but I'm a dentist and I have seen too many examples of what happens when you don't clean between your teeth, so I have this constant reminder.......

I don't every day, but every week. I definitely brush my teeth at least twice a day, and brush my tongue. I think those are more important. That reminded me of something-- my husband's family floss their teeth while sitting in the living room watching t.v. Is that not disgusting??? The first time I saw one of them do this I was horrified. When you floss, little tiny pieces of food and stuff can fling out and YUCK that can get on the furniture or carpet!!!! Sorry I just had to get that off my chest. I feel better.

No, my hygenist just told me last week that if you floss at least 4 days a wk, your doing well. I try to floss everyday, but sometimes forget.
Oh and PS, aquachick must be a true blond for real!!! Tooth plaque does NOT glog your heart! Thats a totally different type of plaque and happens for a totally different reason. I just had to add that. LOL, i will laugh for a while about that , thanks aquachick!

I use mouthwash daily... but flossing I usually forget. I have floss in my car though and if I'm stuck in traffic and I remember I go for it...lol Flossing is important though... it stops plaque from clogging your heart. My boyfriend flosses like 5 times a day!! He is serious about his flossing...lol

I think you're doing OK though.

I'm really Bad I do it maybe 3 times a month but the funny thing is I clean my tongue everyday its part of morning ritual. I am obsessed with buying tongue cleaner. They have the floss on the end but I still don't use it.

I floss every night (at night is the best time to floss).
I makes your gums strong and resilient to the evil hygienist when she cleans your teeth. It is one of my 'pet peeves' ....people who do not floss. A flosser can pick out a non-flosser. It's gross. The food/bacteria/plaque that is caught between your teeth causes bad breath.

i go through phases...
for a couple months, i would go CRAAZYYY if i ate and couldn't floss right afterwards.
i felt like i had to floss, brush my teeth, and use mouthwash -- in that order, of course.
now i just have little things of floss all over the place plus my hummingbird.
i still do it sometimes, though.
thinking about this has me wanting to go floss.

i dont floss at all.. i find that floss makes these small gaps between the teeth that allows the food to actually stick between your teeth i just brush my teeth alot!

I floss everyday. I carry it with me in my purse, even. Everytime I go in the dentist says I have "perfect teeth."
