Do you think 13 years is a big age difference for dating? 30 yr old and a 43 yearold? WHY or WHY NOT?

No, not a big difference at all. Both are grown adults, both still in child rearing years if that's what you want, ability to have many things in common.

well.... it depends on how you look at it. If a 15 and a 28 year old went out, that would be wrong, but you both are old enough and mature enough, age should be nothing more than a number. You should at least both be above the legal consent age.
I only answered this question because I hear remarks like this all the time. I am 19 and my fiance just turned 34 in June. We've been together for 2 years, and I love him dearly.

age is just a number... if you are old enough to understand, feel, experience, and appriciate realy love.

oh my heavens yes,do the numbers child,my goodness they are experienced 3 times over, 13 is not an adult ,that would make them a child molester, you need to focus on anything other than being some old mans slave. as when you are of age they will be still that much older and you will see why, that is by far too big an age gap for you to have very much in common with them.
relationships like that shows a low self esteem issue with your self, you need to realize that you can't just throw yourelf away like that, this world has too much to offer to waste your time and your life on what would be some very big mistakes.your just a babe and your life and your world as a young adult is just beginning to open up and you are the beautifull flower in it.
so, take your time date people more your own age and then you'll see you'll have alot in common with people your own age.

No. Once both perople are over college age and a little beyone they should have a good grip on who they are and what they want. I think the proablem with age differences come when one of the pair is too young to have experienced enough of life to be able to truly commit to someone or to understand themselves in an equivalent way. When both people are of similar ages they can go through some of the changes together--and that can work well. (or fail misearbly, but we all go into relationships hoping that things will work out!)

Not so much when you're past your 20s, no. If you were dating a 15 year old, that would be a different matter, but you're both in pretty much the same stage of life, you're both old enough to know what you're getting into, and you both know what you want and need in a relationship.
