Tonight we ate at a Chinese restaurant and my baby grabed a piece of honey chicken off my plate, she had it in her mouth in a second flat. Is there enough honey to make her sick ? IF so how fast would I know

she would be sick within a few hours...but if shes old enough to grab it off the plate, she probably is old enough to eat raw honey anyway...She probabaly did not get enough to bother her in that one taste. Id say you have no worries..

I doubt that that little amount of honey is going to hurt her. If she was going to get an allergic reaction, it would happen immediately. They just tell you it is not such a good idea to give honey to children because of it being full of environmental crap...sorry, can't think of a word for it. I wouldn't worry about such a small dose. Just don't feed her spoon fulls of honey or anything.

After Three Kids and Nursing School. I do not belive there is enough to make her sick. it is honey straight out of the jar if you know what I mean.

just as long it was not much. a child can have honey after the age of 1.

They recomend not giving honey to kids under 1 or2 becaues it mayt have bacteria etc.
Im sure she is fine,most honey chicken doesnt even have honey in it..

no way thats not going to hurt you baby, mym little boy gets honey put on his dummy, they just love it, trust me if she likes it let her have it, there is nothing in it that would do andthing in small pertions, its great stuff

I wouldn't worry about it...but to bring yourself peace of mind, you can call the emergency room and ask them your exact question. Otherwise, you'll have to wait til Monday.
