Put winxp CD in CD reader drive (cdrom) and reset the laptop. Let winxp setup load (if it not load automatically, reset again and press Delete button untill system setup load. in the boot menu put cdrom 1st. seek this setup to fined it if haven't boot menu and learn more about it. at last save and exit) in the winxp set up continue and read message until it give you hdd drives list. delete the c: and make new partition with every size you want. do not forget your hdd size is about 58000!!!! then install winxp in c:

The first partition should be done at the time of installing or formatting the hard disk. if not there will be only one primary drive ( Usually C: ). To part this you need program such as partition magic. Many manufacturer provide it. Like Norton, etc.

right click on my computer and then press manage, go to disk management on the left side and right click on the drive you want to partition and select partion

perhaps you would be greater helpful with yet another no longer easypersistent on the laptop, which you would be able to set up xp on .it feels like youhard rivevisn'tnt sufficiently huge .the two that or use a larger partition.any otherpersistent would be a slave one
