My family doesn't have reunions.
On my father's side, the family doesn't get along at all. The last time we tried to have a reunion, several members went to jail for fighting.
On my mother's side, members thought they were to good to interact with the rest of the family.
So both sides gave up and not tried to have one any more.

I have skipped out on the last 2 family reunions thankfully.
My relitives get drunk and usually fights break out, or im usually the one getting picked on in front of all the other relitive. I Dread it alot and i hope i will never go to my family reunion

Semi-similar. I live in Utah, so most of the family is Mormon (not me), and that's WAY worse! I have managed to have to work on the day of my family reunion for the last 4 years. Yay!

my family reunion was today but my family is black and we had it in the park with a lot of bbq, noisy little kids, "too cool to be here" teenagers, two cute little dogs who wouldn't stop biting the noisy little kids, big drunk guys, and gossipy old women. it was awesome! :)

Oh yeah... we waddle our way to the buffet and have a grand ol' time. I love it, my family is so screwed up, it makes me feel normal.
