Ok so on the first offense you owe the municiple fine and then the DPS surcharge. What happens in the case of a second offense while still paying on the first surcharge??

Repeat offenders may have to pay anywhere from 350.00 to 1,000.00 and their vehicles may be impounded for up to 180 days.

hire a lawyer and they will get it dismissed or the lawyer will fight it and when you go to court you will have to have proof of insurance and you won't pay -- lawyer charge around $45 an $50 and if it is a warrent it will be like $60 to $100
