Same thing it says about piercings or any other form of self-mutilation. The body is the temple that houses our spirit, it shouldn't be defiled.

Leviticus 19:28-You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the Lord.
OR
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 -Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you , and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price: therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit which are God's.

Your body is your temple so you are not supposed to defile it in
anyway. However, If you are a christian and are following everything
else I don't think God will hold that one thing against you if you really must have one. I don't have one. I used to want one and then I don't
know time passed by and I never got one and then I was out of that
phase I guess. I decided that I didn't really need one and that I
didn't want it to be weird looking on me when I got old. Now, just because I said that, don't think you can break all of his other laws ok?

Lev 19:28 'You shall not make any cuts in your body for the dead, nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves: I am the LORD.
King James version:
Lev 19:28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.
This is the only time it is mentioned.

Tattoo is a pagan practice in the old times. We all know that pagan rituals and practices collide with Christian beliefs. Our bodies are God's creation so it is a duty for us to take good care of it, meaning we should not do anything unholy. I did not make it up.

The Bible says do not cut or mark yourself in memory of the dead. It doesn't say anything about tatoos in general.

It says you shouldn't mark or cut your body. That means tattoos, too.
But some of them look pretty good, don't they?
