If you want fast results that are temporary, low carbs is a good way to go.
However thy best way to loose weight, is over time and do it as a permenate change. Like cutting out most sugars and white bread.
White bread is a good thing to go first.
Do alot of cardio work. Your heart pumping is what helps you loose weight faster.
In the morning just eat something like a grapefruit with a sugar sub., some water or fat free milk (though there is still alot of sugar in this), lunch time- Salad, include somekind of meat, but mostly chicken. And with Dinner make it light. Before 7 pm. And you can have snakes. There are all kinds of thing out there now that are low carb, low calorie.

Hi
This plan and this link helped me loose my excess weight so here goes,
If you are serious about losing weight, the calories in the food you eat should be less than the energy you use. You will have to increase your metabolic rate now, and plan your diet carefully.
Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will lose weight faster. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/m7ckx

Any low fat and low calorie food. high on fiber content, Raw fruits and vegetables as some above said are the obvious choices. And a lot of exercise, but consult your doc afore you change your diet and start an exercise regimen.
Methinks you can safely avoid the fried and oily stuff, cakes ice creams, etc., but consult your doc first!
All the best!

Cabbage definitely. I tried to do the cabbage soup diet, which stinks (literally) plus I am not a huge cabbage fan, but it makes you go to the loo 3+ times every hour! It's a soup with cabbage and some other veggies. It's pretty healthy but kind of difficult to follow. You can find it online if you're looking to go on a diet.

Fish, chicken, eggs, but not the yellow part. You want high protein, low carbs, fats and sugars. But if you wanna steady diet, you need to be able to eat a little of everything, just in moderation.
