GOOD! It was the best thing I've ever done for myself! I recommend this to anyone who has been told they qualify for the surgery. The recovery is quick and the results are amazing! The best part is when your "allowed" to swim... you can open your eyes in the pool and actually see where your going!! :)
Good Luck!

If you are a pilot or a surgeon, it's really bad, as you may lose your job. In our local hospital system (15 hospitals) surgeons will no longer be allowed to perform surgery if they get lasik. Even if the lasik worked, the dry eye can cause momentary blindness and doing delicate surgery just doesn't work with that. While many people have had successful lasik eye surgery, there is a fairly large number of people who have had complications. The most common is dry eye followed by haloes (everything is haloed). I have also heard several fellow scrapbookers, who had lasik several years ago, complain still about light sensitivity. If you can see, I wouldn't take a risk. Glasses are much safer, followed by contacts.

Lasik Surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges kall types of surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.I have also read that they arrange financing for american and canadian patients as all types of surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your eye surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.hope this helps.

A Co-Worker of mine did it and said it was the best decision he ever made. Well worth the money. It will just take you a little time to adjust, but once your able to read things clearly whenever you want, you'll be happy.
Good Luck.

My nephew had it done and both he and his wife are happy with the results. He had worn glasses most of his life. He can see great after having the procedure done!
