#1 exercise during the day.

#2 Avoid looking at the compute sreen at least two hours before you intend to go to sleep. I heard it on the radio and I am experiencing it in real life. The bright light from the screen stimulates the brain and keeps you awake. If you turn off the screen and pick up a book or magazine to read your eyes have to work harder and the brain is not being blasted with the images. You have a better chance to get sleepy.

#3 Do not eat at least four hours before the time you would like to go to sleep. A full stomach requires a lot of energy to digest and doesn' t let your body rest even if you do fall asleep.

#4 No sugary food or drink before bed, they rev up your metabolism and make it harder to go to sleep.

# 5 If you want to sleep at night, don't allow yourself any afternoon naps. If you get sleepy after lunch, get up and take a walk.

You know dude, I've already experienced that, if I can't prolong with i ask somebody, like you.. the best way to skip that hardship in sleeping you may take milk before sleeping. That's can help you to avoid being ensomniac..

The one cause, why you can't sleep at night maybe you're thinking too much even though it's time to relax.. Avoid it,.. it can affect you.. Like what's happening to you right now.. Also take vitamins to subdue those nights you did'nt sleep well.

Try to apply those some advice, maybe just tomorrow, you'll notice that it's workin'.. :D

try getting up early each morning no matter what time you went to sleep and do not take any naps during the day. Also start doing more physical things during the day to tire your self out. Go bike riding or long walks. or work in the garden. Or put in a veggie garden and work in it. Its hard to go to sleep if you are not physically tired.

Make sure you are plenty active during the day and stay away from sugar and caffeine. Don't take naps and don't sleep late. If you still have trouble sleeping, it may help to see a doctor.

You are to young for this to be happening to you, I've been like that for 12 years now. I just keep going till I fall asleep. Talk to your parents about this, and make sure they understand, you mean what you say, may be you have a small problem you can talk to someone about, little things, big things will play with your brain, mine will not shut off.

see if your parents can take you to an alternative physician. They may be able to give you a mild calming agent.

Tell your parents not to go to a psychiatrist. They'll give you stuff that will probably be more than you need. If its the only doctor available in your area, then try it, but otherwise, check out alternative.
