Alcohol when consumed in like amounts does not matter what source its comes from-beer-liquior-wine-
matters not. One suffers a hangover when too much alcohol
enters the body than the liver cannot process- oxygen levels drop and body is dehydrated. Alcohol is a poison to the body-especially in excess and frequent use.

Drink another beverage and let your friends drink booze.
Be the designated sober one.
Less hassle with brain and organ damage and no worry about blue lights in you rear view mirror.

Apply this with any drug!

Best Alcohol To Avoid Hangover

2016-11-18 05:39:06 · answer #2 · answered by leisure 4 · 0 0

Want hangover free??? Try more expensive hard alcohols... My favorite hangover free drink: Tanqurie Gin on the rocks (well only 3 ice cubes) a splash of Vermouth (a splash - not just a couple drip).. a large Olive or two....

Allow ice to melt before drinking!

The reason the more expensive alcohols are better is because in the distilation process if the temperature and filtering settings aren't exact then you get a mirror image or inside out molecule called an isomer, that isomer is what causes hangovers. So the 'Top Shelf' alcohols are better processed and have little or no isomers.

Cheers!

Note: You won't appreciate the first time - but 3 weeks later you'll have an intense craving for another or 3!!!!

Other than the previously metioned remedies, I noticed that the quality of the alcohol effects the severty of my hangover (or even if i have one). The better the quality of the alcohol the less likely I will have a hangover. The quality of water in the country of origin used to make the liquor is also a factor. They tell you not to drink the water in Mexico for a reason. Sounds a little wierd but try it some time. Have a night out drinking cheap stuff, then try it buying a better quality brand. Popov vs. Grey Goose. I do think staying hydrated before a night of drinking is the best solution/remedy.

You want to avoid sweet drinks because they give you the worst hangovers. Also eating a baked potato before going out drinking will help absorb the alcohol. And lately, I've been reading that drinking a glass of water between each drink will help you avoid dehydration.

It all gives you hangovers ! Drink moderately and try to eat some food throughout the drinking period. That might help. DON'T take Tylenol for a hangover either before or after drinking. The combination of alcohol and acetominafine can be deadly to your liver, and in some cases can even cause death due to liver shut-down.

Here's the secret;

What you start drinking, keep drinking. Do not mix it up! Stick with one type of drink !!! It's when you have a beer, then a Margarita, then a Long Island Ice Tea, then a beer, then a shot ... then another shot, that you get those hang overs.

Drink a lot of Ice Tea (Lipton) before you go out ... that pre-hydrates your body. Alcohol DE-hydrates you.

Drive Safely if you're the Designated Driver. Don't drive if you drink.

Lighter colored alcohols give less of a hangover. If you are going to drink Vodka make sure its a good brand because it means it filtered more, which leads to less hangovers as well.

i read someplace the clearer the alcohol the lesser the hangover.

still.. if you're going to drink, moderate and don't drink until you are drunk.. never drink til the room spins..

and keep yourself hydrated with water and fresh juices during your drinking period, it helps big time.

also before your buzz wears off? ...... prepare, start taking in hydrating fluids. it will help when you get ready for bed, you'll sleep much easier and won't wake up wishing you were dead.

eating helps too.

It will all give you a hangover if you over do it!
But try to avoid mixing it with sweet stuff, sodas. That is where the big hurt and vomit come in.
I like vodka and water with a slice of lime that I squeeze in, never made me sick.
