I know it is morbid, But I cant help but think (at the time)are they recognizable????

the media reports said they were recognizable. i think they found them still strapped into the seats.

They weren't in the water very long, so my guess is that they were recognizable. I seem to recall media reports that all three of them (JFK Jr., his wife, and his sister-in-law) were still strapped into their airplane seats.

JFK had a hole thru his forehead and neck,face was not disturbed by the force of the bullits.RK was shot and still talking when ambulance arrived I was a kid when both of these happened and saw an autopsy film about 10 yrs ago on both on cable channel(don't remember which though)

I heard from a Navy Diver that JFK Jr.'s legs were severed by the seat belt.
