If she is not supportive of who you are and only tries to change you to how she wants you to be, then yeah -- move on.

But if she's upset with you for something that you legitimately did wrong, and if she sees a better side to you overall, then maybe you should talk it over some more.

You really gave next to nothing to go on...

Is this the first time she's put you down? How many times have you hung up on her in the past? If this has been going on for a long time, then I'd say go ahead and dump her. You don't need someone who doesn't value you as a person. Arguing is a waste of time. You deserve someone who will treat you better. Good luck!

It depends on if she does this all the time and why. Talk about this with her and tell her how you feel. If there isn't a reason for her doing this, and you tell her to stop and she does it anyway, break up with her. Find someone else. But if she does this because you cause her to say things to put you down, then you need to think this through. She may end the relationship. Good luck!

Well maybe u should try talking to her first and see why she has doubts about whatever she put you down about. Maybe she didn't mean to. You may feel that she put you down but maybe she was just giving you her opinion. It may have been negative but if that is her honest opinion. Don't get mad at someone for being honest. (Not taking her side) because as your girlfriend she should support you in what ever you want to do. Just talk to her, don't end the relationship because she said something that you didn't like.
Good Luck!!!

No, no you shouldn't. Sometimes a girl will put down her guy because he won't take a compliment, just thank her when she says something nice. Did you give her a reason to put you down? Is there another side to this? I think you just want an excuse to break up with her, grow up.

Ok, is that it? You are gonna break it off with someone because they hurt your feelings? What was the 'put down' about. Maybe it wasn't a put down. Maybe you didn't hear it right. I don't know. Details would be nice though, how can anyone answer a one-sided question honestly.

i dont know! just putting u down doesnt sound serious enough to call it kaputs! has she done this many times before?? if not, then talk to her, and listen to what shes said. is it possible ur action was not completely thorough? if yes, then maybe explain that u would end the relationship if she continues to degrade u.

Depends on what she said and if this is an ongoing problem with being put down.

Are you SURE she intended to put you down, or is that just your interpretation of what she said? TALK about it with her before you are so quick to cut the strings.
