They probably have it there at the salon, and it's most likely included in the cost. I wouldn't think they would expect you to provide your own any more than your own shampoo or scissors.

Girl get your own hair. These people are truly guessing on here. Think of it like this, you only need one pair of scissors to cut everybodys hair so I can see you not providing your own scissors. But hair has to be your type, your color and your length, because that's how it's sold. What would a salon look like having 100's of bags of hair hanging in the salon?? There would be nowhere to work. Now I've seen salon's right next door to the hair stores, but trust, you will have to get your own hair. You can contact the stylist doing your braids and maybe they can refer you to the place they would like for you to purchase your hair and tell you which hair they prefer to use and how much you need, but you will have to get it yourself............... Goes to show you can't listen to every answer on here. They tried to make you look like "duh" but it backfired on them.................... If you really don't know the answer to peoples questions you shouldn't be answering, just move on to something you know about.............

It depends. Some people I guess already have their hair that they would like to use. You can always call the stylist to find out beforehand, better safe than sorry.

That's part of what they charge you for - the materials used, just like shampoo or coloring solution.
