Is is suspecious if my GF hides her chat logs?

Question

Basically I was just walking by and seen my GF chatting and seen she loled and asked what it was about. She responded with "I dont know" then eventually with it was about this other guys date, then last she said it was about some video game item. I wasn't suspecious until she wouldnt show me what she had just said before, am I wrong to be suspecious? Keep in mind I am so open with her that she has access to all of my messengers, blog and myspace; I am completely transparent in the relationship.

Yeah you have a right to be suspicious of her, she should be completely honest with you. I would seriously talk to her about it because this is already causing strain on your trust of her, trust is one of the most important things in a relationship. Confront her about it, ask her can I see some of your chat logs and explain your whole reason and why you want to check them so she doesn't think you're accusing her on nothing.

Well as bad as it seems i think you should play a subtle but annoying trick on her... she doesnt show you her messages, why show yours? i mean every guy needs their privacy, so next time she wants to see your chat logs go "no" then she will get suspiscious even though theres nothing going on, that way you can in some what way bribe her to get out information that you are meant to know and that shes been keeping away from you...

Saying that if you don't want to do that i guess you can talk to her, ask what its all about, and try and see through her and see if you can tell shes hiding something.

If this becomes too much hard work in the long run well.... is she really worth bothering with? nobody in a relationship should hide things from each other, sure we all have our secrets but with something as small as chat logs im afraid i think shes got something she needs to tell you....

I am sorry to say that I don't think you are wrong to be suspicious because I know from experience that if she won't show you what she's chatting about, there's a reason. Otherwise...she'd say "God! You're such a jerk! I'm not doing anything wrong and let me prove it to you how much of a jerk you are!" and she'd show you what they were talking about JUST to prove you wrong. They're probably just flirting...which is still wrong but not quite as bad. If she doesn't know this guy in real life then there's not much of a threat of her cheating on you. But if she does know this guy in real life...I'd be worried...very worried. I hate to tell you to be a jerk and start a fight but tell her to prove you wrong....and if she doesn't then she's definately hiding something. Only you can decide though how bad that is.

I do have to say though, that there is a small possibility that she's just embarrassed to show you her conversation because she thinks you might think it's stupid. But VERY small chance.

First of all even though you are a couple both parties are allowed their privacy. She doesnt show you the chat log as you might not want to cause any misunderstandings. In chat, sometimes, it inevitable that there will be some flirting and teasing. But it could be harmless.

Personally I like to have my own things to do without my guy knowing everything but I would just tell her that you are totally open to her because she has access to all of your messengers. You just have to have trust if she still won't let you have access but if your feelings are telling you that something is wrong then it might be.

I see where you are coming from but I think you shoud allow her privacy and respect her space. If you think she is cheating on you...spy more and find evidence if not let it go and don't lose sleep over it.

May be you ought to use the same technique on her. Let her taste her own medicine. But in the end its up to you. Follow that gut feeling.

She may be online flirting. This isn't uncommon. A lot of girls have cute guys they flirt with online. It usually doesn't result in anything but a confidence boost to each person. Just ask her if its anything serious that you need to know about. If flirting pisses you off, realize that EVERYONE flirts, even if they are taken. Its human nature.
