I don't know if im supposed to continue my question here but i will. Anyhow, I know that when she does these things like insult me or nudge me, they are playful. I did a test and refrained from talking to her to see what happened and sure enough she approached me and started doing these things. Is this a sign that she likes me, I need to know because I have a girlfriend but I dont want to hurt this other girl if she ever asks me out so I must end it sooner than later. I havent seen how she reacts outside of school as I live in a really bad apartment in San Fransisco.
Any help from girls who may understand their own "kind" (lol) would be much appreciated :)

What's living in a bad apartment got to do with anything? Does it hold you captive? Don't let your circumstances ever limit your upward mobility.
Anyhow, I was going to say maybe she's nearsighted and needs a prescription update in her contacts, because I'm sleepy and I get a little twisty brained this late.
BUT yes, she likes you. Be faithful to your girlfriend and just ask the other girl, "Hey, what's up? How are you?" And as you get to know her, make sure you mention that you have a girlfriend.
But nothing is wrong with having HER as a friend.

awww! she relatively likes you. have self assurance me, my friends and that i do this continuously with the boys we adore. we pretend to come upon them and then ask for forgiveness and then only start up a verbal replace. its classic. i say you start up texting her and take it from there!
