I'm 23- single- he's 40 (but gorgeous!)- divorced. We have crazy sexual tension but I don't know if I should act on it and get it over with so I can actually get some work done or not? Anyone else have a similar story where you either acted on it or didn't and how it turned out?

sex in the workplace is a BIG no-no. you speak on sexual tension....well is that it? i mean you have to think of ALL before acting on it . i did when i was younger...almost same senario...he was 40 fine as hell, i was 20....we played touchy feely @ work then one day met afterhours outside of work & went out on 2 "dates" (alcohol involved), by the 3rd outing we skipped the lounge & went to his place....we ended up seeing each other like that for 2 months every other night. until the tension died then it died down, became less, i started seeing toher ppl, him too & then one day a "friend" came to visit me at work (3 days before our xmas party), he said nothing till the xmas party....then it broke out....it became so hectic to work with each other that he asked for a transfer & i eventually quit the comapny. another time i did we ended up together for 3 yrs but working in a tight space was no good especially when another guy/girl that works there starts to "invade". we lasted 3 years because the company closed 3 months after we started out office romance.

I have been there and done that a few times. I don't feel there is anything wrong with it as long as both can keep their mouths shut and don't let anyone else know anything about it. But you have to stop after a time or two or you will get too close and start having problems at work;.

Do you like your job or the thought of being with him more. Choose which one because it is extremely rare to have both. Sexual tension is very common when you work closely with someone. If you do choose to pursue a relationship with this man, you need to set ground rules.

ha, I'm 21 she's 25 and It's at boiling point...Im gonna ask to take her out, and I know she'll say yes I've got to know her pretty well the past 3 months, so the tension is there...and the time is right...she's cute as hell, and tells me about how she's looking for a guy, and I happen to be that guy..I know she likes me alot, because one of my co-workers told her that i liked her...he made her guess who it was and he said she blushed and said I should ask her out or he will for me if I don't.

I acted on mine, and it didn't harm anything, but be careful about that. Don't do it if he has any power over you. The age shouldn't matter, my first guy was 35, and I was only 15. To me age doesn't matter.
