Moon and Sky are not names for humans.

As much as I love unique names (my kids are Winona Linette, Aleda Lark, Ethan Geoffrey and Quade Royce) I wouldn't name a child either Moon or Sky. If you do really love one of those names consider it as a middle name, and sky could be Skye, I like it betteer with an e. Maybe:

Kala Moon, Joanna Skye, Gracie Moon, Allison Skye

Andrew Skylar, Joseph Skye, Matthew Skylar, Kevin Skye.

Quite simply - no....
I am a teacher and although not a supporter of the very common name I really dislike the odd or unusual names. Often students with odd names are quite simply odd themselves. I cannot say that is because of the name - it could be a reflection of the home life or other things also. Think about your child at 25 yrs at 40 yrs and at 75 yrs. Is it as cute then?

I wouldn't name her Moon, because that's just begging to be made fun of. I'd name her something that means Moon instead. Sky is a cute name.

You think a kid named moon will make it through high school? Sky is alright. Try adding an 'e' on the end. Or what about Raine or Summer? Forrest? Flower? Ridge? River?

No to Moon. Sky is kind of popular, especially Skyler. Still, I wouldn't use it.

Nope, neither, the child will be made fun of in school!

Not even Luna (thing of Loony Luna from Harry Potter).
