hehe.. Guess what anchor babies, if you or your parents came here after 1986 to have you to be a U.S. citizen while they were here on either a
1) Visa
2) Business
3) Student
4) Embassy Personnel
you are not "subject to the jurisdiction thereof" and will be deported.
Law experts are working on this matter right now and is paying it's way thru the system to fish out those deemed "anchor" babies.
If you are an anchor baby after 1986, you are not a citizen. If your parents were not citizens before 1986 and you were born here, you and they are not citizens.
You will soon be deported, and be forced to pay back all funds that you collected from government funded programs. And if you or your family cannot pay up, you will work off your debt in a prison.
What do you think about that?
I'm loving it!! And can't wait for it to start!!

Here is another article on it by the "Judicial Watch Blog," followed by a few comments....

This right here makes me so Mad/ Sad at the same time......
"My neighbors, who are legal US citizens are not able to get sufficient medical insurance. The husband has a muscle disease and is in a wheel chair. He had to retire from his job early. He is covered sufficiently but there's a $1000.00 deductable on his wife and the poor woman hasn't seen a doctor in 10 years because they simply cannot afford it. His daughter inherited the muscle disease and is in a wheel chair also. She works part time and isn't able to get decent insurance either. They had to pay for those wheel chairs out of their own pockets to the tune of $3000.00 each, and they are falling apart. This country needs to take care of the legal citizens and quit giving handouts to the illegal rif-raf."
I am so sick of our Government not taking care of our people, they would rather bend over backwards to help an ILLEGAL ALIEN then Citizens!!! I hope something is done about the anchor baby issue. These women that come here just to have their kid thinking it is their free ticket into the states ticks me off!! I don't care if that sounds harsh, so sue me, I am past caring!!
The story mentioned above makes me so angry mainly because I know for a fact that it is just the tip of the iceberg. When will our government get the message that we are TIRED of footing the bill for people who do NOT belong here??

According to estimates,
some 200,000 - 350,000 so-called anchor babies
are born in the United States every year.
A group of attorneys and immigration experts
are trying to do something about the problem
RIGHT NOW.
Craig Nelsen,
director of Friends of Immigration Law Enforcement
Stated :
"The situation we have today is absurd,
There is a huge and growing industry in Asia
that arranges tourist visas for pregnant women
so they can fly to the United States
and give birth to an American.
This was not the intent of the Fourteenth Amendment;
it makes a mockery of citizenship."
(Sound Familiar??)
The key to undoing the current misinterpretation of the Fourteenth Amendment is this odd phrase
"AND SUBJECT TO THE JURISDICTION THEREOF."
The whole problem is caused by the fact that the meaning of this phrase, which was clear to anyone versed in legal language in 1868, has slipped with changes in usage. Fortunately, there is a large group of court precedents that make clear what the phrase actually means:
The Fourteenth Amendment EXCLUDES
the children of aliens.
(The Slaughterhouse Cases (83 U.S. 36 (1873))
The Fourteenth Amendment draws a distinction
between the children of aliens and children of citizens.
(Minor v. Happersett (88 U.S. 162 (1874))
The phrase "subject to the jurisdiction"
REQUIRES
"Direct And Immediate ALLEGIENCE"
to the United States, NOT just physical presence.
(Elk v. Wilkins 112 U.S. 94 (1884))
There is NO automatic birthright citizenship
in a particular case.
(Wong Kim Ark Case, 169 U.S. 649 (1898))
The Supreme Court has NEVER confirmed
birthright citizenship for the children of illegal aliens,
temporary workers, and tourists.
(Plyler v. Doe, 457 U.S. 202, 211 n.10 (1982))
There are other cases
referring to minor details of the question.
They Are NOT Here To Stay
Get Over It

Stealth, thank you for sharing this information. I certainly do hope this is the case. I do NOT agree at all with the "anchor baby" loophole and it needs to be eliminated and all people who think they are safe because it, need to find out once and for all whether or not they are safe.
To Britney: Your baby would be safe if you are an American. If at least one parent is a legal US citizen, then the baby is legal. The "anchor baby" loophole is to do with when neither parent is a legal citizen.

Yes indeed ... one can always live in hope .. btw regarding a previous answer regarding the 1986 amnesty .. that bill provided for the following ... "As a "balance" to this huge amnesty, IRCA also included several provisions designed to: strengthen the enforcement of immigration laws (including sanctions for employers who knowingly hire illegal aliens); increase border controls; and create a program to verify the immigration status of aliens applying for certain welfare benefits.'
Sounds familiar? Twenty years ago ... and 9/11... and we're still talking about exactly the same thing ... any reason to believe anything is going to happen in the next 20 years either?

I suggest everyone just wait and see what happens. You need to read the Amendment passed in 1986, have you done that, regarding immigrants?
