I went to Washington D.C with my friends two weeks ago and I got bites on my lower back. I dismissed them as mosqito bites but eventually I developed large red bumps which itch. So I think they're spider bites...I haven't had any symptoms like fever or whatever. What should I do?

get a blood test to see the type of spider the bite came from and treat it accordingly

Check out the link below (California poison center).

"Spiders rarely bite more than once, so multiple bites are usually caused by insects such as fleas, bedbugs, ticks, mites and biting flies."

"Many of the spider bites will result in pain, small puncture wounds, redness, itching and swelling that lasts a couple of days."

If you were bitten two weeks ago, then I think it's likely to be bites from something other than a spider, and the bites may have become infected, or at least you still have some inflammation. Get it checked out, but I don't think it's likely to be spider bites.

It all depend on what kind of spider bite you..if it is a brown recluse spider you will need medications from a Dr. Watch it closely if it starts to peel the skin or get red and a line runs down or up..go to the Dr ASAP.

go to the doctor because spider bites are pretty dangerous. they rot from the inside out. they also will swell you up so big.

Rub a special cream on them and put large band-aids on them. Lay on a heating pad to bring out the infection so it won't get bigger and cause you to have to have surgery.
