guys I'm getting pretty worried here and yes I have seen a doctor.. actually I've seen 2 doctors about this. A couple of weeks ago I started feeling dizzy with severe pain in my right ear. Anyways, the ear pain has pretty much gone away the past few days and the dizziness is pretty minimal now.. a lot less than what it was but something else has developed. I get pain on the top right side of my head and when i push on it and put pressure, it hurts. Any opinions.. could this be a tumor? If it was why would the ear pain and dizziness get better.. wouldn't the symptoms get worse? Serious answers only please. thanks guys

The docs said it's probably sinus or allergies, but I find my doc is wrong a lot.

Did you have a CT scan of your head? Have you seen and ear/nose and throat specialist? If your sympoms don't subside, keep after the docs. Hope you feel better.

It could very well be a serious inner ear infection. That is where the fluid builds up in the ear causing the infection. That will cause a lot of dizziness and severe pain and it can cause pain and irritation anywhere. If you have seen two different doctors, perhaps you should consider seeing a neurologist if you have not already.
Get well soon!

the common signs of a brain tumor are: headache, seizures, vision changes, nausea, vomiting. The dizziness that you had that was associated with right ear pain was likely an ear infection and unlikely to be associated with a tumor. if you press on your head and it hurts, the pain is likely in your scalp and not inside your skull. The best way to find out if there was a tumor in your brain would be to get either a CT scan with contrast or an MRI of the brain, but I doubt that they would be necessary unless you had a prior history of cancer in another part of your body or a family history of brain tumors.

The first time your doc said something you thought was wrong/found out later was wrong you can be forgiven for, but if you went back to the SAME doctor after that, why would you expect anyone to think that you are anything but a fool? Either you trust your physician's professional assessment (that you probably have sinus trouble), or you can decide you have a brain tumor (which would give you none of the symptoms you mention, by the way!) and go see a different doctor!

You can request to see another doctor...and see as many as you want....you are intitled to a second, third, or fourth opinion .
Get a referral to see a Specialist...Good luck!

I would check with a chiropractor too.
Some of that weird stuff is fixed by them alot.
Ask around to friends to find a good one.
