Nope - the two are mutually exclusive as far as your body is concerned. A period is basically your body flushing out the last egg you had waiting for fertilization, since it was never used, or fertilized. Once you become pregnant, your body no longer sends an egg to be fertilized, so it no longer needs to 'flush' it...

No. the only bleeding that is normal that you might see is implantation bleeding which occurs around the time you would have expected your period (it only happens the first month of pregnancy-if at all). It looks like just a small bit of blood and lasts no more than a day. Pregnancy hormones rising would prevent you from shedding the lining that makes a period-if you are bleeding and pregnant, there is a problem.

Since there is infinite variability among women, and anything that can go wrong will go wrong (Murphy's Law), it is possible for a woman to have a period throughout her pregnancy. There are other symtoms of pregnancy, however (weight gain, breast tenderness, morning sickness, feeling the movement of the fetus). If you have any of these symptoms, you should see a health care professional.

yes it is possible,
i have a friend and the only way that she knows for sure that she is pregnant is when she has a regular cycle it is not a full heavy period it will be lighter but you can still bleed but i believe that your doctor will keep a close eye on you during the pregnancy in case complications arise.

I have three children and I spotted pretty badly during the first 4-6 months of each pregnancy. It wasn't as heavy as my period, but it was still inconvenient and caused me a lot of worry. My ob/gyn said it is normal for some women to spot, but if I saw any clots or had pain associated with it then I needed to get to the hospital quick. All pregnancies are different, talk with your ob/gyn about any concerns you have.

After gaining knowledge of, all i got here upon replaced into no to this question. even nevertheless, some days in the past i replaced into shocked as i found out i'm pregnant. even nevertheless, approximately 3 weeks in the past, i recently complete a month long era. no longer something yet dark brown/black discharge for 3 weeks, and a few days of heavy bleeding. i replaced into previous due for a month, and then had a month long ''era'', i presumed it replaced into everyday after coming off beginning administration. for the time of beginning administration I had withdrawal bleeds, heavy ones too, so from my experience, definite you may. I had no indicators the two, aside from excruciating cramps in my decrease abdomen, around the pubic bone section. no longer something greater advantageous than what a warm watter bottle could no longer resolve. seems, I even have my reason. I experienced some weird and wonderful emotions in my decrease abdomen too, could no longer clarify, some days it may injury to circulate or touch, others i could be completely positive. Then it without notice disappeared and that i finished up having top ribcage soreness. Absolute suffering. seems it is not something greater advantageous than my physique changing itself and getting arranged. basically because of the fact some human beings do no longer experience classes for the time of being pregnant, does no longer mean you may not be. maximum suitable of success to you!

A little bleeding can be normal. heave or unstoppable bleeding can be a sign of a complication either way monitor the amounts of blood and take good care of your self. Try to keep stress down and pick up your feel if you feel tiered or sore. Remember we can not always be super woman. Congratulations of the baby. Good luck you and all that lie before you

No.
When your body senses you are pregnant, the hormones
switch around into baby making mode and egg releasing stops.
Even if that wasn't true...
Your period is caused by releasing eggs from the ovaries which
are then (assuming they are not fertilized) eliminated through
your vagina.
A baby would, to say the least, block that process.
If you have occasional bleeding, you should see your doctor.
It is *NOT* your period.

nope.....not possible. If you have more bleeding than just implantation bleeding that occurs at around 4 weeks conception, then something is wrong or your not pregnant. There is no other explanation, period.
