at my company if over one year ,your job is terminated ,lose health insurance in18 months and pay cobra costs, must use up all your remaining vacation and sick time, can't borrow from your 401k.I dunno the rest, been on long term disability for 4 years. hope you feel better. the ltd people are ball busters and are always trying to stop paying you,

so make sure you are really disabed according to all standards,my ltd company made me apply for and pass SSDI b4 they payed me. they only pay the difference between what they owe and ssdi

My sweet little sister has been on total disability for 15 years (she had cancer) -- IT IS SO hard!! there is NEVER enough money to just pay basic bills and eat. Buying the meds she needs is out of the question... She has this to look forward to for the rest of her life and she is only 50. ALL I tell you--just look forward to POVERTY!!!
