Actually the problem is on landing and not on take off.
Chewing sweets or in babies feeding (swallowing) helpd because this causes movement of the muscles of the eustachian tube (the tube that ventilates the middle ear from the back of the nose). This allows the pressure changes to be tolerated better when landing.
For some reason airlines have got it wrong! The problem is landing not taking off, and they should give out sweets on landing!

the suited ingredient we did at the same time as vacationing overseas places very last 3 hundred and sixty 5 days with our 3 little ones, honestly one of them being 2 years previous replaced into, make confident he sits in his carseat!!! i am going to't allow you to recognize the way nice it replaced into! He sat there the completed time (a million flight for 3 hours and yet another for 8!!!) without ever asking to get out! for sure in the course of the 8 hour flight it replaced into evening time and he slept the completed time, yet nonetheless- i replaced into surprised. the different ingredient I did replaced into made confident I had something for each of them for each a million/2 hour of flight time. I were given sticky label books, magnetic books from Toys R Us, they watched a million DVD on our DVD participant, lots of distinct non-sugary snacks, colored tape- they loved sticking all of it over the position, crayons/coloring books, etc... you'd be tremendous. merely really evaluate putting him in his vehicle seat. he will already be used to vacationing that way contained in the vehicle and so he will merely assume thats what you do on a airplane as well! have relaxing!

Since she is 1 she cant really have gum because of him/her swallowing it, instead try feeding him/her something that is going to make her chew alot. Maybe some taffy or something to that nature.
