I highly recommend going back to school and finishing up and I certainly wouldn't wait till they were gone to begin. I went back and did that when my daughter was fairly small, but was as old as the parents of many of my classmates. I actually did better in school - because I had acquired wisdom that living brings - and appreciated the opportunity more than when I was younger. Best of luck - it is very doable if you want it.

Alas, if I could only be 30 again.

You'll fill that part of you when you've completed school. Look at it this way honey, everyone in your family went through school without the complexity of having children to raise while doing it. They, in a sense, had it pretty easy. You had to multi-task, support a family, work and fight to survive as a single mother. You aren't giving yourself enough credit. You took the long scenic road, but the results will be the same if you don't give up. Cut yourself some slack and stop being so hard on yourself. It's not about getting to the finish line first, our lives are about the journey there!

Honey, set your goals.. whatever they might be.. and then go for it!! If you have to write them down, then do so.. but you CAN do it! How do I know? I am 52 years old and have been trying off and on for my Associates Degree for 34 years!! I will FINALLY graduate in January, 2007! It is a struggle and a sacrifice, but SO much worth it! Don't put yourself down for what you have or have not accomplished in life. Just set your personal goals and go for them.. because in the end, yours is the only opinions that really counts. Good luck to you!!

My lord, you must have had your son when you were 14 and the other when you were 17. Then no, not at all under your conditions. Well, if you don't graduate from college then your going to feel even emptier. Anyways, most people don't even go (or graduate) from college, at least your doing it now and 30 isn't even old.

Go back and finish your degree. My son is grown and I have a grandchild and I just signed up for college. I have some college but I want to get a degree. I am really excited about it.

Wow, you made a mistake as a teen. See, you can't even finish your own education. Your kids will be done with college before you. Just be happy for them. That is all you have.
