I have a 3 part question for all?

Question

1. Do you believe in dreams?
2. Do you believe people that have died can come to you in a dream?
3. Do you believe what they say to be true?

I am asking this because I know a lot of people will say yes to those until they read why I asked and then all of a sudden they will say no.

My uncle came to me in a dream and told me not to doubt that God is real because he was in Heaven right now. I asked him if it was beautiful and he said he wouldn't tell me, I would have to wait and find out when I got there. Which is a typical answer from him.
( This was just a short version that I have given you.)
I think I had this dream and he really came to me because at that point in my life I was really struggling and he was someone who I would always go to for answers, so God had him answer me in my dream.

So, how many of you changed your answer when you read the rest of what I said? And now just think it was wishful thinking or my imagination?
I believe God works in wonderful ways.

Of course my uncle has died - how else would he have come to me. And yes, he wassaved and was a Christian.

Yes yes and yes. my mom has a recurring dream where she will dream of the last person to die in her maternal family. The person will come right up to her face and be trying to tell her something but with no sounds coming from their mouths. The next morning she can always tell us to expect the phone call because someone in her maternal family has died and she has never been wrong.
Unfortunately the dream has now passed on to me as the generation she dreamed of has all gone and I got the same dream as my mom when the last of the generation died. We both woke up and went into the kitchen at the same time for a drink ( 4.30 a.m.)and both of us had EXACTLY the same dream. Within the hour, the phone was ringing........................

Yes I do believe in dreams, i believe its a special way where our souls protect us by giving our minds hints of the future. I also believe people who have crossed over do visit us, my father god rest his soul one came in my dream while I was 4 months pregnant with my first child. In the dream i already had the baby in my hands, it was a boy, my father took him and explained that he would take good care of him and that I should not be sad, I woke up the next morning and ignored it completely. One week later I lost my baby and it was a boy. I think my dream helped me heal faster although I still hurt. That's why I do believe and will keep on believing. Plus I also believe that dreams have meaning like if you are a female and dreamed you where in a cage it means you'll get married.
Find a good dream interpretation book, you'll be amazed, and always keep a notebook next to your bed so as soon as you wake up you can write down what you dreamt and see later on if it had any significance. If you forget your dream don't worry it just means that the dream is meaningless.

Yes I believe that dreams exist as a natural part of the brains functioning.
No. I believe on can dream of a person that has passed but dead people don't come popping into heads with messages so No to the third part too.

2. I believe that we work things out in our dreams. When someone dies, we usually have unresolved issues or are troubled by our loss. Dreams allow us to confront these issues and the loss. Dreaming that a loved one comes to us is one way of dealing with our grief. It shouldn't be surprising that they reaffirm our beliefs. I imagine that the Ancient Greeks had dreams that their loved ones came to them and told them that they are in the Elysian Fields.

3. I believe that we create our dreams. Sometimes they represent what we want to be true. Other times they help make clear what we know to be true but don't want to admit.

It isn't surprising that your uncle was in character -- you would want him to be.

When my mother died, I had a few dreams about her. She didn't tell me anything about where she was or what she was doing. In those dreams, I told her that I loved her. It was what I needed to do.

I am very excited to answer this question. I am so glad that you asked it.First of all Yes I definately believe in Dreams. I Believe God speaks to me in dreams, Why you ask? Because that is when I am the quietest and still so he can speak to me, and I listen. He helps me with questions I do not understand and he gives me peace.
Second, No I have not heard from any one who has passed, But that is not to say it can not happen, As I feel when our loved ones pass, they can watch over us like angels. I do some times feel like My grandmother and my Stepfather have been in my living room with me as I feel their spirits so strong, But that may be because I think of them or something triggers a memory about them.
If I heard their voice yes I would believe it. Which brings me to an interesting story you may enjoy. One day when my Grandfather was visiting me from NY I asked him if he could find a way to comunicate with me at his passing to say good bye would he? he laughed and said sure if I can I will. Well The day he passed, I was washing Dishes in my Michigan home and I felt a chill and he was in my mind very strong, and I mean very strong. I called my Grandmother in NY and asked her if Grandpa was ok? and she said he wasn't feeling very well and went to lay down. I said Grandma, lay the phone down and please go check on him. She did and came back to tell me he had just passed away in his sleep . So I believe he came to say good bye. Does that help? I would love to hear from you on this. [e-mail]

3. No. Death does not make a person nicer or smarter. Being dead does not mean a person automatically knows all the secrets of the universe or anything like that. And if you didn't get along with them in life...chances are, they're going to be jerks towards you in death as well. It really depends. Your uncle is one thing since he's a relation and I'm assuming the two of you had a good relationship in life...it sounds like he was just imparting a good sentiment to you, which is great. But I would be wary of anyone else, especially if I didn't get along with them in life, and I'd be skeptical of any advice they'd give me.

I believe in dreams and I believe that God speaks to you through dreams, but I do not believe the dead come to use. If your uncle was saved he is with God, if he is here walking the earth then he is not with God and that is an awful thought. However, maybe God used the memory of your uncle to speak to you.

If what you say is true then you think heaven is on earth and is just in another spiritual plane of reality, or a different universe on earth.
Would you not be contradicting your self if you believed that Jesus rose up to heaven?
Now what you might be thinking is that your uncle came from heaven and talked to you.
Just like Jesus talked to Paul, when he came to him in a vision that left him blind.
Now once again you have to realize that people from heaven can come to earth or heaven is on earth, since they can come to earth, after death heaven is the universe!
I suggest you research astro projection if you can believe in life after death on earth.
Through AP you can some how talk to or vist the other side (supposdly)
many people have expercianced, and some are stuck between after doing it such as sliva brown,
AP is not demonic, you acctually do it while you are sleeping.
If the universe is heaven its not going to be all that wonderful, especially thinking about who God is.
Who supposedly sits on his throne in heaven, now we just have contradiction, after contradiction!

I answer Yes to all three of those questions. I constantly have dreams of my former G.F. and Daughter who both died in 1996. I have been watching my daughter grow up in my dreams ever since and my G.F. constantly gives me advice. Yes I know i might just want it to be happening so I dream it, but I much rather accept it to be true that they are really there.

Yes to all the questions...and God can and will use anything and anyone to draw us to Himself... if you think about it.... when God reveals Himself or some spiritual growing time in a dream to make us wake up and go HMMMM..... first of all.... God's got our attention, God has us one on one and for the best one of all.... we usually never forget what we dreamed that night, what we felt and what was going on..... so cool!
